About

I am a Therapeutic Practitioner who has been working with children and families for over 25 years. Initially trained as a Social Worker, I have worked with children and families in hospitals, schools, supporting teens involved with the youth justice system, and worked with children and carers in adoption and fostering and with children and parents with neurodivergence and trauma.

I am a Certified Theraplay Practitioner, a Developmental Dyadic Psychotherapy Practitioner in training and a certified Theraplay Trainer and Trainee Supervisor (so many words!). I am also trained in Life Journey Work, BUSS levels 1 and 2, NVR, fully safeguarding trained and up to date with Paediatric First Aid. All of this to say I believe in learning and keeping up to date with developments in what might be helpful for families.

I work as an Independent Consultant Social Worker providing training and consultancy to a variety of services and am a Registered Social Worker in Wales and England.

I am a parent, a wobbly potter and a keeper of sheep.
